Dear Collier Community,
Our school system is committed to protecting student, teacher, and staff health. To protect our
community and be in compliance with the Department of Education regulations, Collier School tested
our school’s drinking water for lead.
Following instructions given in technical guidance developed by the New Jersey Department of
Environmental Protection, we conducted testing on all drinking water and food preparation outlets. Of
the 27 samples taken, we are very pleased to report that all tested below the lead action level
established by the US Environmental Protection Agency for lead in drinking water (15 μg/l [ppb]).
The original report AGRA_Analytical_Rpt220413037_20220511164947 showed a false positive for the
KT Serv Sink. This was retested on 5/20/2022 and shows in report
AGRA_Analytical_Rpt220512035_20220606115442 that the one sink is within normal parameters.
A copy of all test results are available below, and additional documentation is also available for
inspection by the public, including students, teachers, other school personnel, and parents on campus.
