Individual Counseling

Our Master's level clinical staff provide individual and group counseling and case management to our students. Our clinicians can push into the classrooms to provide extra support and/or get a better clinical perspective regarding any classroom issues. They may also push group counseling into the classroom & other school areas to provide social skills training in the specific school area in which the student is experiencing social skills difficulties. Group counseling includes building our students' skills set via a myriad of therapeutic approaches such as DBT, CBT, Mindfulness, Sand Tray Therapy, and other interventions. Our clinicians work closely with our psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Therapists, Behaviorist, Shepherding services, teachers, administrators, and other staff members to develop a therapeutic plan that best meets the student's individual needs. Clinicians also work closely with our Administration to assist in peer mediation counseling. Clinicians participate in all meetings related to their specific students to act as a support, advocate, and therapeutic resource to the student.
